Almost anybody can take part in motorsport, one of the most popular sports in Britain. There are more than 700 clubs organising over 4000 events each year and TWMC is one of the oldest.
From the age of eight there are events for all people, budgets and cars. There are also opportunities for the disabled driver. Many forms of motorsport can be tackled with completely standard road cars. Other forms require safety modifications or only permit very limited performance modifications.
You can use old cars, new cars or you can take part as a passenger or navigator. There is also plenty to do in a non-competitive nature. All events need marshals and organisers or you may wish to just spectate.
The links, right, describe the events that TWMC organise or that TWMC members take part in. There are also details of the minimum requirements needed for each discipline.
The information contained within these pages may change, but up-to-date information is available from the Motorsport UK. When applying for a competition licence you will receive the Competitors’ Yearbook which contains all the regulations regarding cars, events, drivers and officials.
